Connect your accounts

Open Connections (Connect accounts in the sidebar) to see every platform and how it's connected. You always sign in on the platform's own site: Socials Organizer never sees your passwords.

Instagram, X, TikTok, LinkedIn and Threads

These platforms don't let apps read your saves, so they connect through the browser extension.

1. Install and pair the extension if you haven't yet.
2. In the same browser, make sure you're signed in to the platform as usual.
3. On the Connections page, press Connect next to the platform.

The extension opens your saved page for that platform in a tab, reads your saves and adds them to your library. Your first sync starts straight away.

TikTok collections

If you've sorted your TikTok favourites into collections, Socials Organizer offers to use your TikTok collections as categories. It suggests a match for each collection, which you can change before applying. New collections follow automatically after that, and your own moves always win.

Reddit and YouTube

These connect with the platform's own sign-in popup, so there's no extension needed. Press Connect, approve access in the popup, and your saves sync from our servers in the background.

• Reddit: your saved posts.
• YouTube: your liked videos. YouTube doesn't share Watch Later with apps, so Watch Later comes in through the extension.

Choose how often they're checked in Settings → Syncing → Check Reddit and YouTube.

Import a data download instead

For Instagram, TikTok and Threads you can also import the copy of your data that the platform gives you. It's handy for a one-off catch-up, or if you'd rather not use the extension. Press Import next to the platform on the Connections page and drop in the file.

Instagram

1. In Instagram, open Accounts Centre → Your information and permissions → Download your information.
2. Choose your Instagram account, select Saved (or everything) and pick JSON as the format.
3. When the email arrives, download the ZIP and drop it into the import window.

TikTok

1. In TikTok, open Settings → Account → Download your data.
2. Choose JSON and request the file.
3. When it's ready, download it and drop the ZIP (or the .json file inside it) into the import window.

Threads

Threads data comes with your Instagram download (Accounts Centre → Download your information). Choose JSON, then drop the ZIP into the Threads import window.

The file is read in your browser; only the list of saves is sent to your library. Captions and pictures are then filled in from the posts' public previews.

Disconnecting

Hiding or deleting saves in Socials Organizer never changes anything on the platform. To stop syncing an extension platform, simply stop pressing Sync for it, or unpair the browser in Settings. Reddit and YouTube access can also be removed from those platforms' own app settings.
