Privacy, security and your data

The short version: we only read what you've saved, we never change anything on your accounts, and you can take your data or delete it whenever you like. The full detail is in our privacy policy.

Your social media accounts

• No passwords. You sign in on each platform's own site. The extension reads your saved lists from your own browser, and Reddit and YouTube use their official sign-in. Your passwords never reach us.
• Read-only. Socials Organizer never posts, likes, unsaves, follows or messages anything. Hiding or deleting a save in your library doesn't touch the original.
• The extension stays in its lane. It only runs on the seven platforms' sites and socialsorganizer.com, and doesn't ask for access to your browsing history. You can unpair it from Settings at any time.

How saves are sorted

To sort a save, its text, images and any video frames or transcript are sent to Anthropic's Claude API. Anthropic processes them on our behalf and doesn't use them to train its models.

Videos are downloaded only long enough to take a few still frames and a transcript, then deleted; we never keep the video itself. When you play a save, it uses the platform's own player.

What we do with your data

Only what's needed to run Socials Organizer: store and show your library, keep it in sync, sort it, and keep the service working. We don't sell your data or show ads.

Export your library

Settings → Your data → Export your library downloads everything (titles, links, categories, tags, notes and transcripts) as CSV (for spreadsheets) or JSON.

Delete your account

At the bottom of Settings, type DELETE and press Delete everything. Your library, categories, tags, notes, connections and stored files are deleted straight away (and from backups within 30 days), and any subscription is cancelled. Nothing is removed from Instagram, X or any other platform.
