Get the app on your phone

Socials Organizer installs straight from the website onto your phone's home screen. It opens full screen like any other app, with the same account, saves and categories as on your computer: anything you move, tag or favourite on one shows up on the other.

There's nothing to download from the App Store or Google Play, and it updates itself: you always get the latest version when you open it.

On iPhone or iPad

1. Open socialsorganizer.com in Safari and sign in.
2. Tap the Share button (the square with an arrow pointing up) in the toolbar.
3. Scroll down and tap Add to Home Screen. If you see Open as Web App, leave it switched on.
4. Tap Add. Socials Organizer appears on your home screen: open it from there.

Chrome on iPhone works too: its Share button has the same Add to Home Screen option.

On Android

1. Open socialsorganizer.com in Chrome and sign in.
2. Tap Install on the “Get the Socials Organizer app” banner at the bottom of your library.
3. No banner? Tap Chrome's ⋮ menu and choose Install app (or Add to Home screen).

Signing in to the app

On iPhone, the app keeps its own sign-in, separate from Safari, so you may need to sign in once more the first time you open it. Email and password works as usual. With Continue with Google:

1. A sign-in window opens. Sign in with Google there.
2. Once you're done, the window says You're signed in. Tap Done or close it if it doesn't close itself, and the app opens your library.
3. If the window asks for a code, type the 4-digit code the app is showing. It only asks when it can't tell that both are on the same phone.

Syncing from your phone

Instagram, X, TikTok, LinkedIn and Threads don't let other apps read your saves, so those sync through the browser extension on your computer. Once it's set up, new saves appear in the app on their own: open it any time to browse, watch and organise them.

Reddit and YouTube sync on our servers, so you can connect them from the app itself.

If something isn't right

• No Add to Home Screen option: make sure you're in Safari or Chrome rather than an app's built-in browser (like the one that opens from a link in Instagram or Gmail). Open socialsorganizer.com in Safari or Chrome directly.
• The icon has a black background: you added the site before the app existed. Delete the icon and add it again.
• The app shows the sign-in page: sign in again inside the app. Signing in to the website in Safari doesn't sign the app in on iPhone.

To remove the app, press and hold its icon and remove it like any other app. Your library stays safe in your account.
